I have had a gecko slip through my security cracks on 4 instances. Every time I tracked em down and got em behind glass.

Twice it was because I temporarily had a gecko in a tiny 2.5-gallon tank while I was cleaning out his tank. I know, I should have learned after the first instance... but I was keeping my eye on him... The other two times, a gecko got out on a log ladder. I should have noticed the first time, I know...

I never have found a gecko in the daylight. They hid to well. I just use the fact that they like to hunt at night. I barricade the room with towels under the doors. Then at mid night, I go searching for them with a red light. Leos can't see red light, so I come right upon them no problem.

Hope you never have to look for a missing gecko, but if you do, it makes a good story for the forum!
